Initially inspired to pursue a veterinary career, Chantal’s path took an exciting turn as she discovered her true calling—directly interacting and working with dogs. From walking to boarding, she immersed herself in every aspect of canine care. Starting in her own neighbourhood, Chantal’s dedication led her to work at esteemed dog daycares and animal clinics while also attending specialized dog walking courses and becoming certified in Pet First Aid.

As Wagging with Chantal flourished over the past decade, it has grown into a close-knit team of experienced dog enthusiasts who deeply understand the unique needs of each four-legged friend. Puppy Visits

Are you eagerly awaiting the arrival of a new furry friend? Look no further than Wagging With Chantal to assist you with the early stages of puppyhood. Our Puppy Visit Service is designed specifically for young puppies who aren't ready for group walks just yet.

During each visit, we'll take your puppy on a brief potty walk, ensuring they have a chance to relieve themselves. Once back home, we'll engage in indoor playtime and cuddles, providing them with the attention and affection they need. Upon request, we'll take care of changing their water and handle their feeding. Should any accidents occur, our team will promptly clean up after your little one.

These visits cater to puppies aged 8 weeks to 4 months, and their duration can be tailored to your preferences and the puppy's needs, ranging from 15 to 30 minutes.

As your furry friend grows older, we'll gradually introduce them to small group walks, allowing them to become familiar with socialization and develop appropriate social behaviour. At Wagging With Chantal, we understand the importance of nurturing your puppy's well-being at every stage of their journey.

Group Walks

Get ready for an hour of exhilarating socialization and fun in the beautiful dog parks of Toronto. Our Group Walks offer not only exercise but also the opportunity for your dog to form lifelong canine friendships. We ensure that every dog receives the love, attention, and care they deserve.

To guarantee a harmonious experience, we carefully group dogs based on their temperament, energy level, and location. Please note that Group Walks are exclusively available for canines over four months old who possess basic training and social skills.

At Wagging With Chantal, we go the extra mile to enhance convenience for our valued clients. We provide pick-up and drop-off services to and from the park in our spacious, heated, and air-conditioned vehicles. Please note that travel time to and from the park is not included in the hour of playtime.

Rest assured, the parks we visit are fully fenced and boast a variety of trails for your dog to explore. We also provide fresh water and treats to keep their energy levels up during the adventure. During the summer season, your furry companion will even have the chance to enjoy invigorating swims at Cherry Beach, Humber Bay West, and other dog-friendly beaches in Toronto.

Private walks

Our Private Walks are designed for dogs requiring individualized attention and care. These half-hour walks are perfect for shy or aggressive dogs who may not feel comfortable in the presence of other dogs, as well as senior dogs who prefer a more relaxed pace.

With our Private Walks, your furry companion will receive personalized service tailored to their specific needs. Our experienced team will provide one-on-one attention, ensuring that your dog feels safe, secure, and happy throughout the walk.

We understand that every dog is unique, and their individual requirements deserve special consideration. At Wagging With Chantal, we're committed to providing the highest level of care and attention, catering to the specific needs of your beloved pet during their private walk.

Boarding

We understand that it's not always possible to take your beloved companion with you everywhere you go. That's where we come in. When you choose to board your dog with Wagging With Chantal, rest assured that they will always feel right at home, becoming a cherished part of our family.

Our boarding service is exclusively available for dogs who currently use our walking service. We believe in building a strong bond with our furry friends, and by combining our walking and boarding services, we ensure continuity in their care and an environment they are already familiar with.

Boarding takes place in the comfort of Chantal's home. Your dog's comfort and well-being are our top priorities, which is why we offer a variety of beds, toys, treats, and more to ensure they feel loved and at ease during their stay.

At Wagging With Chantal, we believe in a cage-free environment. While we do not confine dogs in cages, we have crates available for owners who prefer their dogs to sleep in them at night. Our maximum capacity is limited to three dogs at a time, ensuring that each furry guest receives personalized attention and care with 24-hour supervision.

During your dog's stay, you will have access to photos and updates of their adventures at various parks and the new friends they've made along the way. This way, you can feel connected and reassured that your pup is having a fantastic time.

We have a few boarding requirements to ensure all our guests' safety and well-being. Dogs must be spayed or neutered by the age of six months and have up-to-date vaccinations. We also conduct a meet and greet, followed by a trial night, allowing your pooch to familiarize themselves with the boarding environment.

Please note that social compatibility with other dogs is a requirement for boarding. Dogs displaying aggressive behaviour towards other dogs will not be permitted to stay.
